Howdy just thought I would tell you something. This is twice now I've landed on your blog in the last 3 weeks hunting for totally unrelated things. You've done a great job promoting your site. Love it!

Chad, thanks for continuing to visit the site. I'm glad you enjoy it. I like the Panthers, but I don't love them. You never know if Adrian Peterson is going to go nuts, but the good thing is he has a hamstring bugging him and was held out of practice, but is probable for Sunday. Good for you, he'll be a 90% AP instead of a 100% AP. Obviously, the Vikings have quarterback issues and have to go with Gus Ferrotte. I like the Panthers offense with Steve Smith back against the Vikings. The Panthers LT vs. Jared Allen is a key matchup though. If Allen wins that battle, things might not look good for the Panthers offense. Plus, the Panthers are on the road, but that didn't seem to work against the in San Diego.

Good luck this week. I think I'm going 5 units on Denver -5.5, 5 units Giants -6/Patriots -5.5 teaser, 2 units on the Eagles -3, and 1 unit underdog parlay special: Panthers/Jaguars moneyline (pays 7:1)

First of all, I always come to this website before I make any decision on a game. I dumped a huge amount of $ on the Panthers. Do you feel that was a good decision? It seems like the Panthers are playing like how they should of been playing the past 3 years. I think it's because people got tired of picking them to go all they way. They dont have any pressure on them , which allows them to play relaxed and have fun. delhome I feel is fired up about this season compared to past couple years, probably because he was hurt.

Yeah true the Brown have not been that impressive through the first to games of the season, BUT they have been in there games (not blown out or anything) and if they are to get out of a funk the ravens are the perfect team to play......the fins managed to get there only win against them last year remember :P hahahah. guess it all depends on how flacco does in his second start.

Don't underestimate one thing: HOME field advantage.

It's a big difference maker. The Seahawks scored 30 last week and now they'll have a much poorer defense. The west-coast system, though complicated, still gives Hasselbeck the chance to make plays despite who he's throwing to. The Eagles run a similar offense and it doesn't matter that the Eagles top 2 WRs are out: the plug in a guy (Avant, Baskett, Greg Lewis) and they get the job done. Julius Jones wasn't so bad after all last week either. I'll stay with the 'Hawks because the Rams are that terrible.

I liked the tenaciousness of the Ravens D in week and now they're well rested and had more time to prepare for the Browns. I'm not impressed with the Browns at all. They are in an offensive funk and their D will let the Ravens control the clock.

I'm still not betting on them though! I'm thinking of taking the Broncos spread for 5 units and doing a 5 unit teaser on Giants -6.5 and Patriots -5.5. Maybe 2 units on the Titans. I'm not liking this week very much. Your thoughts?

I agree with most of your picks with the exception of Seattle and the ravens, as bad as the rams are I think that they will be able to beat the spread due to the depletion of hawks receivers (they wont be in sinc with Hassleback and will make his day hard) as for the ravens who were a surprise in week one I think the browns have to much talent to drop to 0-3 on the season

Thanks Brad. Let's beat the Steelers this week. It's going to be a tough game, but with Ben's sore shoulder, if we can stop FWP, this game is ours. We have to get some revenge for that humiliating loss in Pittsburgh 4 years ago (when T.O. and McNabb had their first falling out).
