A new commercial is out for ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown. It’s hysterical. I agree with Keyshawn, eggs are very versatile — flexibility is key!!
We booked a MNF win thanks to the Ravens (+2) who won 10-9. We all knew it would be a tight game, which is why my bet on this game was negligible, but we got some back after that dissappointing “nobody saw it coming” 49ers loss. However, we rattled off three big wins earlier with the Dolphins at 1:00 and the Crimson Tide and Sooners on Saturday. I have another small bet on Chargers (-5.5). They drew blood first gaining a 7-0 lead before Jamaal Charles ripped a 54-yard TD to tie it up. We’ll see what happens. It’s now pissing rain, so this one could get ugly. Rivers just threw a pick and the Chargers also fumbled.
For now, enjoy a funny commercial for NFL Countdown. I’m anticipating a higher quality video being available tomorrow morning.

So I hear this Denard Robinson guy is pretty good. Can he beat the Irish in South Bend? Stay tuned for that pick to come. Off to work on the week 1 NFL picks, which shall be posted shortly. In the mean time, enjoy some highlights.

ECU throws a Hail Mary to win the game 51-49 over Tulsa. Dominique Davis threw a 33-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Justin Jones to win it for the Pirates. FYI, Tulsa was favored by 7 points.

As you know, I’m a huge fan of Coors Light Commercials. It’s practically what made this site famous. We used to have a lot more Coors Light commercial on that page, but some vanished from YouTube. Anywho, there’s an excellent new Coors Light commercial out with my main man, Mike Ditka. It features Coors Light’s latest gimmick in case you thought it was no longer possible to come up with a new gimmicks after the widemouth can, frost-brewed inner lining, the blue-turning mountains, the see-through case so you can see the mountains are blue, and other similar gimmicks. The new gimmick is none other than a home draft kit, aka beer in a box (Box-O-Beer).

I recently received an e-mail asking me to spread the word about some viral marketing videos featuring Joe Montana. I appreciate it when others reach out, so yes, I’m pleased to spread a little viral marketing campaign. Not only are the videos cool because it features somebody getting nailed in the head with the football, but it’s JOE MONTANA!
Apparently the videos are for Sketchers, but the video doesn’t even feature the Sketchers logo, so this has me thinking, are these videos just an intro to something bigger? Quite intriguing. Feel free to comment.
