Week 3 – RB – Forte, Jackson, Lynch, or Jacobs?

Posted by in NFL Week 3 Start 'Em Sit 'Em Advice on August 4th, 2008 | 5 Comments

Question: Need help picking my RBs for week 3.

QB: Matt Hasselbeck, Jake Delhomme or Carson Palmer

RB: Matt Forte, Steven Jackson, Marshawn Lynch, Brandon Jacobs, Larry Johnson, or Steve Slaton (Pick 3)

Best answer:

Jake Delhomme – Delhomme will be getting Steve Smith back. Palmer has been struggling and Hasselbecks WRs are hurt.

Steven Jackson – Jackson will go nuts in SEA as this the Rams best chance to get a win while Seattle’s offense is struggling.

Marshawn Lynch – Lynch should have a very good game against OAK as the Bills will get great field position all day against a terrible offense.

Brandon Jacobs – Jacobs will run all over the Bengals.

What do you think? Answer below!

Jake Delhomme, no doubt—He gets Steve Smith back and Hasselback has absolutely no one to throw too, Palmer will get rocked all day at the NYG..

Steven Jackson will go nuts in SEA as this the Rams best chance to get a win while SEA offense is struggling. Marshawn Lynch should have a very good game against OAK as the Bills will get great field position all day against a terrible offense and Brandon Jacobs will run all over the Bengals….A dark horse this weekend is LJ against the Falcons….he may be their only option for the first half but don’t expect much from him after that.

Matt Forte, Marshawn Lynch, Brandon Jacobs are the RBs I would go with.

Steven Jackson – The offense is doing nothing despite his talent.

Matt Forte – He gets a boat load of carries on a poor passing offense and has been dominating.

Marshawn Lynch – On an offense that is making things happen. Who should score no problem.

Brandon Jacobs – I hate committees, but he is going up against a defense that is allowing a little over 150 yards rushing per game this season.

Larry Johnson – The O-Line is horrible. 2 QBs injured in 2 games. He is getting stuffed. He verbally bitch slapped the Chiefs front office.

Steve Slaton – Why would you start him when you have better options.

You Should Start Matt Forte and Marshawn Lynch for sure and then its you choice if you want to take the risk by putting steven jackson in against the 49ers who could possible have a big game or stick with the guy that always gets about 10-17 points with brandon Jacobs.

Then I would pick jake delhomme because he has steve smith back in the line up.

Forte- Chicago can’t throw so they have to run it w/ Forte
Jackson – He plays for the Rams…Forget about it!
Lynch – Buffalo is looking good this year and so is he.
Jacobs – He’s running everybody over!

Hasselbeck – Drop him, no WR’s to throw to.
Delhomme – Smith is back this week, another weapon in his arsenal…
Palmer – What can I say, he sucks this year… missing wide open targets making ocho cinco and Houz look like scrubs!
