Week 14 – FLEX – Michael Turner, Kenny Britt, Steve Smith, or Vincent Jackson?
Posted by Vegas Martin in NFL Week 14 Start 'Em Sit 'Em Advice on December 8th, 2010 | 6 CommentsQuestion: It’s week 14 and I’m in the playoffs. I just need one player to put into the FLEX position.
Pick one of the following players to start in my FLEX this week:
1.) Michael Turner (Q) vs. NO
2.) Kenny Britt vs. STL
3.) Steve Smith (NYG) vs. PHI
4.) Vincent Jackson @ DAL
Who would you pick and why?
Answer:
I think you need to wait a bit to find out Michael Turner’s status. If he plays, he’s a great start, because the Saints defense is very banged up and this game isn’t a lock for New Orleans. Meanwhile, it’s a must win for the Falcons if they want to have a shot at making the plays. If Turner is in the lineup for the Falcons, I would definitely start him.
The other no brainer is Kenny Britt. The Cardinals may have lost Otugwe for the rest of the season and their defense is terrible

Date: Aug 04, 2012 at 8:31 pmVincent jackson is the answer. He is your horse. It’s playoff time now so you should roll with who got you to this point. Vincent Jackson has had a great year and the Cowboys really do blow a dead goat.

Date: Aug 04, 2012 at 8:47 pmI would stay clear from Turner, look at what happened last week with him, he played and got hurt, he obviously isn’t ready to go, and since its the playoffs, you can’t afford a 2 point performance.
I would keep Steve Smith on the bench, Eli is going to have a tough game this week, and seems to be favoring HB Screens, and throwing to Manningham and Boss, not a safe play
With those said, It’s between Jackson and Kenny Brit, and saying it like this makes this a no brainer:
Vincent Jackson
He will get the ball a lot this week, he has been quiet lately and this is a huge game for the Bolts, and when you have a big game, you get the ball to your playmakers, er go, VJ
Good luck this week

Date: Aug 04, 2012 at 9:24 pmKenny Brit With Vince Young starting to become a pocket passer n Britt being his favorite reciever he is turning in to a very good wr. Plus he is facing the the St. Louis Rams so Chris Johnsson will run all over them opening up the play action pass n the pass game in general look for him to have a nice week with 100 yards n a td

Date: Aug 04, 2012 at 9:37 pmI like Vincent Jackson he’s the most consistent out of the bunch he has been plaque by injuries this season that kept him out thus far and plus his team is really hot right now. He won’t be double because others like darren sproles and LT let not forget antonio gates also malcolm floyd is coming along 6’5 Jackson and 6’5 Floyd the choice is obvious Hot Team weak division Chargers and Jackson all day.

Date: Aug 04, 2012 at 10:19 pmI would go Michael Turner. Wide receivers can be unpredictable depending on if the quarterback throws to them or not, and I think the Falcons will give the ball to Turner to open up things for Matt Ryan. Whatever you do though, don’t go with steve smith. He has not done well late, partially due to the fact that he has a below average quarterback, but also because he is facing a tough eagles defense this week.
