Week 4 – RB – Start/Sit – Jahvid Best or Ahmad Bradshaw?

Posted by in NFL Week 4 Start 'Em Sit 'Em Advice on October 7th, 2011 | 3 Comments

Question: Which RB should I start in week 4?

Since Adrian Peterson and Miles Austin are on their bye week, I have the option of playing Jahvid Best or Ahmad Bradshaw this week. However, since Best is somewhat injured and Bradshaw has to go against Chicago’s defense, I would have to assume im going to play Bradshaw, but I hate playing two players from the same team. I was going to play Hakeem Nicks at WR but my other options are Chad Johnson who hasnt done much or Malcolm Floyd. Any suggestions?

Answer:

Jahvid Best is probably still hurt so check his status on Sunday make your moves accordingly. I think Bradshaw is going to have a tough week, but if he’s the best option you have, he is the #1 RB for the Giants. I understand your concerns about having two players from the same team by playing both Nicks and Bradshaw, but sometimes it works in your favor, and at least it’s not players at the same position (I have Roddy White and Julio Jones on my team). You should expect solid production from either Nicks or Bradshaw.

What do you think? Answer below!

I would play J.Best. yeah he is a little nicked up but he will still put up good points since he is the best option in detroit since they dont have a real QB right now. Put in NICKS who has been a beast this year so far. and you will be good

    M. Floyd 100% SD is in a must win situation and u can bet that rivers will be airing it out guaranteed. Best is going to get his points if he plays and by playing him u are rolling the dice that he doesn’t injure himself more than he already is. That’s why Floyd who is 100% healthy, not to mention SD’s #1 WR. Well actually Gates is, but Fantasy owners expect Dloud to have a breakout game. Hope this helps.

Best is banged up and has a tough match up and Bradshaw has a tough match up as well. Go with Floyd, he has the highest upside, maybe 100+ yds and a TD. With Rivers throwing for over 300 yards consistently there is plenty to go around even though Gates is still the number 1 option.
