THE STREAK (system from last week continued)
Posted by Brandon Phillips in NFL General on November 25th, 2008 | 2 CommentsWell we had some good wins last week and few that were very disappointing, but remember the goal is to find a long winning streak. This week we will play all the teams that won and/or covered from last week and add a few more games. If you follow the wagering amount I outlined last week you would be wagering $38.50 to win $35 on all the following games:
1. Mississippi State at Mississippi (-14) MIS 45 MISS ST 0 WIN
2. Miami at NC State (+1.5) NCST 38 MIA 28 WIN
3. UAB (+9) at Central Florida UAB 15 UCF 0 WIN
4. Maryland at Boston College (-7) BC 28 MARY 21 PUSH
and Bet $27.50 for the following:
5. Florida (-16) at Florida State UF 45 FSU 15 WIN
6. UTEP (+5.5) at ECU ECU 53 UTEP 21 LOSS
7. Kent State at Buffalo (-9.5) KST 24 BUFF 21 LOSS
8. Syracuse at Cincinnati (-22) CIN 30 SYR 10 LOSS
9. South Carolina at Clemson (-1.5) CLEM 31 SC 14 WIN

Out of the 9 games, which one or two do you feel most confident about this week?
Jim
Thanks for question Jim, here are my top three games from the list above:
1. Florida (-16) at FSU: FSU honestly has not impressed me all year long and I think they are simply well overmatched in this game. Florida is on a roll and they are now back in position to possibly play for the national title so I am sure they will be focused for this game.
2. Kent State at Buffalo: while KSU has been better this year than normal they have not been very good on the road. Their defense is givin up almost 40 points per on the road and giving up over 400 yards. Buffalo has won their last five and are scoring an average of 40 over their last three. Watch the trend to continue.
3. Mississippi State at Mississippi **(-18): I did really like this game as Miss has been playing great football, but when I posted the game, when the line opened it was 14 and now it is 18. I still like the play, but maybe not as much now that they have to win by three touchdowns. So, Miss is still a play, but maybe back off a bit now.
4. Miami at NC State (+1.5) NC State is playing great and need another win to be bowl eligible. They have played better at home and need this big win. Look for them to come out fired up and win big. I would strongly consider playing them to win outright and even giving up points in a “pleaser” for them to win by at least 7. This is my blowout game of the year. I like it a lot.
